The Tailwind iQ3 PRO Door Sensor is a rugged, commercial grade garage door position sensor. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WIRING HARNESS WITH PLUG! Use this if you already have an older Tailwind door kit and would like to upgrade your door sensor to a commercial grade sensor. Each Tailwind controller can control and monitor up to 3 doors.
NOTE: Please check for lifting cable brackets at the bottom edges of your garage door where lifting cables may be attached. If lifting cable brackets are present and they glide up / down over the J-track they will collide with this sensor.
Features:
- Rugged aluminum construction and superior gap tolerance of more than 2 inches provides rock solid door position information even on loose doors in windy conditions
- Sensor and magnet are potted / sealed to protect against moisture / rain
- Super simple installation. Clamps onto standard 2 inch J-track
- Contains the sensor and magnet
- Designed for sectional garage doors mounted on standard 2 inch J-track. Please see note above regarding lifting cable brackets.
